Quantum Computing in APAC: Our Panel at Quantum World Congress 2025

A panel moderated by Robert Sutor on how the Asia-Pacific region is building quantum systems and linking them with supercomputers.

On September 17, 2025, our cofounder and CEO, Dr. Jie (Roger) Luo, joined the “Quantum Computing in APAC” panel at Quantum World Congress 2025 in Tysons, Virginia.

Robert Sutor moderated the panel with No-Weon Kang of KRISS, Jaegyoon Hahm of KISTI, Natasha Kovacs of SDT, Shintaro Sato of Fujitsu and Roger.

The panel looked at how countries in the region are building their own quantum systems, linking them with supercomputers, and making the software easy enough for researchers and developers to use today. The conversation covered superconducting qubits alongside diamond spin and neutral-atom approaches, hybrid HPC and quantum platforms that are already growing user communities, Korea’s semiconductor and telecom expertise in the quantum supply chain, modular and networked chips that scale beyond a single system, and software integrations such as NVIDIA CUDA-Q.

Thank you to Quantum World Congress for hosting the conversation.
