On October 29, 2024, our cofounder and CEO, Dr. Jie (Roger) Luo, joined the panel “Hybrid Computing: The Best of Both Worlds” at SWITCH 2024, the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology.
The panel, part of the event’s quantum track, was moderated by Jing Yi Chan of Singapore’s Quantum Engineering Programme Office, with A/Prof. Mile Gu, Deputy Director of the Nanyang Quantum Hub, and Joseph Yang of Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
The discussion looked at how hybrid computing brings CPUs, GPUs and QPUs together on hard problems in industry today, and how HPC centers and other compute-intensive users are changing their approach to new classes of problems as quantum systems advance toward fault tolerance. Roger spoke from the view of a quantum hardware company, on the progress being made and on the importance of integrating classical and quantum systems.
Thank you to Enterprise Singapore and to our fellow panelists.
